Studies, research and networks
The Conservatoire participates in several international organisations (Les réseaux internationaux) : the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (UICN) which groups more than 139 countries and 950 members worlwide, the European Union for Coastal Conservation (EUCC), Eurosite, the network of organisations managing Europe''s natural heritage . It is a member of the International Ramsar Convention for the protection of wetlands and Green Register, the network which rallies main public or private european land owners for protection issues.
The Conservatoire participates in internationals and nationals programmes (Les programmes de recherche): Integrated coastal zone manangement (GIZC), Natura 2000, a network of protected open spaces in Europe concerning the conservation of wildlife and its habitats,...
